6 weeks into our U.S. Tour and we are now in Seaside, Oregon.
We set up camp at Seaside R.V. Resort as part of our Thousands Trails membership network of campgrounds. We arrived in town with enough daylight to venture into downtown seaside for dinner and then a short trip to cannon beach to begin our scouting process. The next day, we headed back out to continue scouting our locations and making plans for the upcoming sessions. We were able to visit & explore during the process seeing: Hug Point, Arcadia Beach, Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach, Ecola State Park, The Wreck of the Peter Iredale, & Astonia.
During the process of exploring this strip of coastline and their cities, we had a lot of fun also taking in some of the scenic views and landmarks from the popular 80's movie "The Goonies". Filmed and set in Astoria, we were able to see many key movie landmarks such as the Jailhouse still with the Fratelli's Jeep parked out front (Now the Oregon Film Museum), The Flavel House Museum, Mikey's & Data's houses, and back in Cannon beach the famous Haystack Rock & viewpoints from Ecola State Park.
During our first photo session, we worked with Makayla Whitaker for a Fashion Session. This session started at Cannon Beach which is well known for its monolithic rocks that jet out of the water and we wanted to capture them as part of this Fashion Session. After spending some time in front of the very popular Haystack Rock, we drove just a few minutes south to Arcadia Beach. Here we were able to capture some images of our model on top some of the rocks and take advantage of the unique rock formations for some amazing images.

Our 2nd session while in Seaside was a Fashion Session working with Kaytlin Kriska. For this session we scouting an amazing location called Camp 18 Restaurant & Logging Museum. This location as a logging museum featured all kinds of original logging equipment making for unique backgrounds and elements to utilize throughout the session.
