We are surrounded by desert mountain range and cactus everywhere. We are in Tucson, Arizona.
We set up camp here in Catalina State Park, another beautiful state park. After getting settled, we set out to explore the area and scout our locations for our Tucson sessions. Throughout the process of scouting and exploring the area we were able to see San Xavier Del Bac Mission, a beautiful Spanish Catholic mission located on the Tohono O'odham Nation San Xavier Indian Reservation. We also were able to drive through Saguaro National Park (East) and Tucson Mountain Park both of which have amazing views of the mountain range and native plants.
After a long days worth of scouting and driving across Tucson, we found our best option to be in our own temporary backyard of Catalina State Park.
Our Session in Catalina State Park was unique in many aspects and words are unable to describe how much fun we are having creating these images while on tour. We tried to capture all aspects of Arizona in these images showing Cactus, Mountain ranges, fallen trees, and rock formations.
Since the Tour's initial launch and the first few postings of our sessions, we have been booking up and only have limited spots remaining. We are close to having a sold out tour!!!

After we wrapped up our amazing Tucson session. We spent a pair of days Catching up on editing and office work. As we referenced in some of the earlier blog posts, we travel with our 32ft mobile office in tow. We’ve made a few upgrades to our travel trailer to make it worthy of an office. One of the most important aspects of an office is internet access and installed a Mobile internet antenna and router using both an ATT & Verizon service.
Outside of our short morning walks through the Catalina state park trails and a brief evening escape for tacos and margaritas (when in Tucson...), we logged some heavy office hours in Tucson.
We then traveled from Arizona to our next destination San Diego. Along the route we drove through the Imperial Dunes, experienced very long stretches of empty desert highway, drove along side the U.S. - Mexico Border, and even had to stop through a pair of checkpoints close to the border.
