July 2 - July 8th

We have since completed 11 weeks on our summer U.S. Tour. We are now in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. As a business owner, Jessica McKnight enjoys every opportunity to combine business with pleasure when possible and what better way than to celebrate the 4th of July weekend while working on this tour than spending some time on the lake. The 4th of July Weekend wasn't going to let us just roll in without some sort of work to get there. Our first real setback occurred on our travels in where our GPS gave a bad route forcing us down a dirt country road for about 15 miles and resulting in some muddy walls and a flat tire. We enjoyed taking a weekend break to relax the mind and take in some vitamin D from the sun while floating on the lake in a tube. We spent an afternoon exploring the Dam that creates such a beautiful lake and took in a parasailing trip to really grasp the best view of the lake. We found a nice hillside view of one of the firework shows for the 4th which really helped to cap off a weekend of rest.
After the weekend was over, it was back to work as usual with the morning routine of editing and conducting business calls. We then went out to visit a few of the areas we needed to scout for the next session to confirm the details and specifications of the next shoot.
During our final day in Missouri, we opted to get out of the Lake of the Ozarks and traveled down to Branson for some fun. We had lunch at Fuddruckers before taking a visit to the Movie Car Museum. We then went for a Zipline adventure to make up for the one we missed out back in Coeur D'Alene. The Zipline tour was awesome with 7 lines plus we just had to add on the Big Zip plus a 100 foot drop. We capped off the evening with dinner followed by a little go kart racing.

While in the Lake of the Ozarks, we had wonderful couples session with a young couple celebrating their 3 year anniversary together. The session was held at a state park where we were able to capture their love for one another while artistically creating beautiful images in the lake.
If you are considering a photo session with your significant other for an anniversary or celebration, contact Jessica McKnight Photography to discuss your session.
