We have completed 10 weeks to this point on our U.S. Tour. We are now in Sioux Falls, SD. After setting up camp, we were able to check out the falls and walk through the park to stretch our legs after a long day on the road. Sioux Falls was a stop on our tour that allowed us a little breathing time and much needed office time. Aside from the typical office work we usually have such as editing and scheduling future clients, we spent some time working and preparing submissions of Jessica’s work for WPPI competition. As a professional photographer, it is important for Jessica to attend photography conferences & expos such as WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) to keep up with education and technology in an ever changing and advancing field. In addition to educational courses and an expo of the latest photography equipment, WPPI also holds a print competition in which we submitted a collection of Jessica’s images this year. Check out the images we submitted.

After leaving Sioux Falls, we headed on down to Omaha, Nebraska. We stayed a bit south of Omaha about half way to Lincoln in a quaint town called Asheville which had a pretty new RV campground. While staying in Asheville we did a day of scouting locations in preparation of our scheduled sessions and had a chance to check out the beautiful Holy Family Shrine in Gretna, NE. Aside from scouting locations, we continued to work in our mobile office editing our past sessions taking advantage of each minute we aren’t on the road. We did enjoy a few walks through the park and town for a break from office work when we needed it.

One of our photo sessions while in Nebraska, was a fashion session working with Megan Swanson-Miss Nebraska USA. We were able to coordinate an amazing location for our session at Sparks Barn in Louisville, NE. This wedding venue made for the perfect session with a red barn and amazing features to add to the elegance and beauty of this red dress and our model. We had an absolute blast working with Megan during this session and pulled out quite a few tricks to be able to capture the images we took. Check out our Instagram Page or our Tiktok for some behind the scenes shots of how we made the smoke in the images on the dirt road.
