I cannot tell you how many times a day I hear "We just want the digitals". I actually used to be that person too before I realized just how incredibly important that offering was to my clients. While I am a photographer, I have also had my pictures taken dozens of times and to be honest I couldn't tell you where those digital files are today. I would always tell myself I would get around to printing them or making an album but never did and in my opinion it was a terrible waste of my money. Also before I became a photographer, I would get my images printed and they would never look the same as they did on the computer screen and it would frustrate me. Sure, I have a few images floating around on facebook but those too will disappear one day since facebook no longer holds your images "forever".
